Burton Adventure Recreation Center (BARC)BARC is one of the Park District's most unique properties, and it's improving all the time. With the help of a team of volunteer stewards, we at VPD hope to turn B.A.R.C. into "THE" alternative park for all.  BARC offers an indoor Skate Park, skate bowl, disc golf course, and new pump track. Our bowl was designed by Grindline Skatepark Design and funded via the King County Youth Sports Facility Grant program.  The pump track was spearheaded by the nonprofit RJ's Kids which secured grant funding and volunteer donations of labor, cash donations, and materials to complete this amazing addition to the park.

The indoor facility hours vary - see the website for information. Indoor use is limited to 15 skaters maximum.

Everyone must complete the sign-in sheet and waiver form upon each entry. Minors must have a parental/guardian waiver on file, with our staff witnessing the signature. We will keep a list on site of those with previous parental permission. Those 13 and older can sign themselves in without a parent present. All users under 18 must wear a helmet, and we encourage all users to protective gear.
